To Say Yes or No is Not The Question!

Teenagers today are exposed to so much that they are clued-up beyond their years. At an age where they should be enjoying the end of their childhood, they are busy carving an entry into the complicated world of adults. These teenagers often end up confusing themselves with conflicting thoughts and more often than not, choose to surrender to drugs.

Not only teenagers but also many adults take a path towards doom by giving in to drugs. While teenagers are unable to fully grasp the ill effects of drugs, many mature adults begin drugs knowingly. This vicious circle of being unable to say no to this deathly vice can prove to be the worst decision a person can ever make for themselves. Drugs come under the category of habit forming substances and become an unhealthy addiction with regular use. Not only do different drugs have various physical consequences, but they also affect the mental health of the user.

It is wise not to categorize drugs alongside cigarette addiction, which can be overcome with willpower. This is because drugs can often make alterations in the brain forcing the individual to reach out for drugs obsessively. For this reason, rehab is the only way out in extreme cases- with or without the consent of the person in question. It might take many tries for successful treatment, but the essential rule is not to give up.

Drug addiction develops slowly and may take time to fully surface. It might be difficult to deal with but it is not impossible to overcome.
